It is that time of the year when the blazing heat of the summer has subsided, and the rain gods have showered upon us! Considering the fact that summer was spent indoors by everyone, this summer felt much hotter than usual! But now, the rains bring a completely different mood altogether!
This monsoon, it is time to enjoy the rains with a cup of tea with a plate of hot, crispy and fresh pakodas! To mix things up, here are some interesting kinds of tea which you can try this monsoon! Brewed using Gulabs syrups, they are extremely simple to make and will leave you wanting more!
1. Fennel Mint Tea
Ingredients:
2 teaspoon Gulabs Saunf Syrup
2 peppermint crystals
50 ml Tea Decoction
Instructions:
For the tea decoction:
- In a vessel boil 100 ml water
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of Tea leaves and switch off the stove
- Strain the decoction and set it aside.
For the tea:
- Add 2 teaspoon of Gulabs Saunf Syrup
- Add 2 crystals of peppermint
- Add 50 ml Tea Decoction and stir
- Serve Hot.
2. Rose Tea
Ingredients:
Tea Leaves
Water
Lime
Gulabs Rose Sharbat (Syrup)
Rose Petals
Instructions:
- Bring 1 cup of Water to a boil
- Add in 1 tbsp of Tea Leaves and let it simmer till the tea leaves have infused with the water
- In a cup, add 2 tbsps of Gulabs Rose Sharbat
- Strain the infused tea water into the cup
- Add a squeeze of lime to the cup and stir well
- Top off with a few Rose Petals to garnish
- Serve hot
3. Lemon Ginger Tea
Ingredients:
Tea Leaves
Water
Lemon
Gulabs Lemon Ginger Sharbat (Syrup)
Instructions:
- Bring 1 cup of Water to a boil
- Add in 1 tbsp of Tea Leaves and let it simmer till the tea leaves have infused with the water
- In a cup, add 2 tbsps of Gulabs Lemon Ginger Sharbat
- Strain the infused tea water into the cup
- Add a slice of fresh lemon
- Serve Hot
4. Lemon Tea
Ingredients:
Tea Leaves
Water
Lemon
Gulabs Lemon Sharbat (Syrup)
Instructions:
- Bring 1 cup of Water to a boil
- Add in 1 tbsp of Tea Leaves and let it simmer till the tea leaves have infused with the water
- In a cup, add 2 tbsps of Gulabs Lemon Sharbat
- Strain the infused tea water into the cup
- Add a slice of fresh lemon
- Serve Hot
5. Cinnamon Clove Cardamom Tea
Ingredients:
Tea Leaves
Water
Gulabs Cinnamon Elaichi Sharbat (Syrup)
Instructions:
- Bring 1 cup of Water to a boil
- Add in 1 tbsp of Tea Leaves and let it simmer till the tea leaves have infused with the water
- In a cup, add 2 tbsps of Gulabs Cinnamon Elaichi Sharbat
- Strain the infused tea water into the cup
- Serve Hot with a stick of Clove.
