Rose Tres Leches

You must be wondering what a "Tres Leches" exactly is ? A tres leches also known as "Three-Milk Cake" is a Latin American cake that is traditionally soaked and topped with 3 kinds of milk products being evaporated milk, condensed milk and whipped heavy cream.
What makes it unusual from your regular cake is that the cake once cooked is further soaked in milk to enhance its flavour even more. A dense yet moist cake filled with the goodness of rich rose milk topped with some whipped cream and nuts is a dessert made in heaven. Here's how you can make a Tres Leches Cake :
Ingredients :
Cake :
1/4 cup Milk
1 tsp Pink food colour
1/2 cup powdered Sugar
1/2 cup curd
1/4 cup Oil
2 tbsp Gulabs Rose Syrup
1 Cup Maida
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Cake :
1/4 cup Milk
1 tsp Pink food colour
1/2 cup powdered Sugar
1/2 cup curd
1/4 cup Oil
2 tbsp Gulabs Rose Syrup
1 Cup Maida
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Rose Milk :
1/2 cup Milk , 1/2 cup Condensed Milk & 2 tbsp Gulabs Rose syrup
Garnish :
1/2 Cup Fresh whipped cream, Fresh Rose Petals & Pistachios
Method :
1. Mix milk with the pink food colour and keep aside.
2. Take another container. Add powdered sugar , curd , oil & Gulabs rose syrup to it. Mix well.
3. Now add maida, baking powder and baking soda to it.
5. Once combined, add the milk mixture you kept aside in step 1.
6. Your cake batter is now ready. Bake in an oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until cooked.
7. Once cool, make a few holes on the surface of the cake by using a toothpick.
8. Prepare the rose milk by combining milk, condensed milk and rose syrup.
9. Pour the rose milk over the cake and let it be completely absorbed.
10. Garnish your cake with some whipped cream and pistachios/ rose petals.
